BBC commentator Andrew Castle expressed his concern after TNT Sports has won law to broadcast the final of Wimbledon.
The broadcaster has the rights after taking over Eurosport.

In May 2024, Eurosport expanded its temporary employment contract with the All England Club, including the final of the men and women’s singles.
As part of the deal, which started in 2016, the broadcaster also received a daily package of 90 minutes of tennis height points from SW19.
The BBC will continue their reporting from the Grand Slam as usual, including the final.
And Castle, which is part of the BBCs Wimbledon Comment team, says that the tournament should stay on free-air TV, regardless of deals with other broadcasters of subscriptions.
Castle told Betway: “I don’t think they would ever do that [allow a rival broadcaster to take over].
“As for a domestic audience in the UK, I would be very surprised if it was not on the BBC and free to air.
“But I am rather surprised. I just don’t see why or the specific advantage and that is what is important to me.
“It is an institution and an event, none tennis tournament. As long as people see it because it’s the big one lace.
