Bears vs. Texans Score & Live Updates: Sunday Night Football Highlights, Analysis & News

Houston went into halftime with a 16-10 lead thanks to a 59-yard field goal by Fairbairn. Throughout the second quarter, CJ Stroud and the offense showed they could move the ball and his receivers made some impressive catches. But like earlier in the half, the second quarter ended with a Texans drive that stalled after the team crossed midfield. Penalties hurt the Texans on both offense and defense.

The Bears got their first touchdown thanks in large part to a pass interference call on defensive back Calen Bullock, who put the ball at the Houston 6 on a third-and-14 Williams pass from the 30. Three plays later, Khalil Herbert scored on a two-yard run. At the half, Houston had four penalties for 54 yards.

Statistically, the Texans have the upper hand in most categories. If they can figure out how to eliminate mistakes and sustain drives into the second half, they should be able to win this game easily.
