Beats makes iPhone 16 cases in four different colors
Apple’s new iPhone 16 lineup, announced during the company’s live event on Monday, means that buyers will soon be scrambling for protective cases for their new, luxury phones. Beats, Apple’s music-focused subsidiary known for its headphones and earbuds, is now getting in on the act of dressing up iPhones.
Beats’ new line of cases are designed to work with the iPhone 16’s special features, combining a scratch-resistant hard polycarbonate back with flexible sides and a microfiber lining on the inside.
The cases are available in Midnight Black, Summit Stone, Riptide Blue and Sunset Purple. Contrasting interior colours match the colourful aesthetic that Beats is known for.

“We’re excited to introduce the first iPhone case designed by Beats,” said Beats Vice President Oliver Schusserin a press release. “Beats has always been synonymous with distinctive style and vibrant colors, and our new cases are the perfect way to accessorize the new iPhone 16 series.”

The cases support the iPhone 16’s buzzy Camera Control capability by using “a sapphire crystal paired with a conductive layer that communicates finger gestures.” Built-in magnets allow the case to be used with MagSafe wireless charging. The cases cost $49 and are available for all variants of the iPhone 16 through the Apple Store online.
The new Apple phones can be pre-ordered from September 13 and will be available in stores from September 20.
