BEAUTY fans are rushing to get their hands on a £1.49 cream they claim “literally looks like La Mer Crème”.
Known for its ‘miracle broth’, La Mer Creme is an ultra-rich cream that helps reduce fine lines while soothing dryness.

But with a price tag ranging between £85 and £200, the face cream is out of reach for many people.
However, beauty lovers claim they have discovered a much cheaper alternative, which costs just £2.49 at Boots.
NIVEA Crème, available in a blue jar, can be applied to the body, face and hands.
Boots’ website claims the brand is the “original moisturiser” for dry skin, leaving skin “soft and smooth”.
Beauty fanatic Courtney, who goes by the name @mondayprojectco on TikTok, is a big fan of the cream.
The 52-year-old posted a video on her social media page in which she talks about the cream and the effects it has on her skin.
While applying the cream, she told the camera: “This week I had a facial.
“I hadn’t had a treatment in months and I asked my friendly skin therapist how my skin looked.
“I have been using Nivea twice a day for a month now and nothing else.
“And she said your skin looks good.
“A little dehydrated.
“I was worried it would build up because Nivea is so rich, but she said my skin looks great so watch this space.”
And she’s not the only one who loves cream.
Her video attracted a lot of attention from other beauty fans who also tried it out themselves.
