So if you’re on a budget but don’t want to skimp on your beauty routine, you’ve come to the right place.
Recently we saw consumers go crazy for a lip mask that took the world by storm.
The Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask puts an end to flaky lips and ensures a kissable mouth.
The lip savior has gained cult status on social media, having been viewed nearly 500 million times on TikTok alone.
A quick search for the purchase yields thousands of positive reviews, while content creators pose with the beautiful pink tubs.
But if the thought of spending £21 on a tub of lip balm makes you shudder, don’t worry: Home Bargains has the solution for you.
One savvy shopper was stunned when she browsed the shelves of her local Home Bargains and found a brilliant knock-off.
Lyndsay Northey was so pleased with her find that she let others know on social media, causing astonishment among many.
Post message on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UKa closed Facebook group with 2.5 million members, the bargain hunter shared a click of her recent purchases – two lip sleeping masks.
These lip sleeping masks look remarkably similar to one of the hottest buys on the market: a K-beauty invention, the popular Lip Sleeping Mask EX. They’re guaranteed to leave you with soft, luscious lips.
Lyndsay captioned her post: “For anyone who loves the Laneige lip sleeping masks, Home Bargains are selling them for £1.99 each.
“These were at Brockhurst Gate, Gosport branch.”
Lyndsay bought both flavors of the new, bargain buys: Candy Berries and Strawberry & Lemonade.
Although the sleeping masks for lips are intended to be applied before bed, they can also be used as an everyday lip balm.

Best beauty dupes
Fabulous’ beauty editor Tara Ledden revealed which budget versions of your favorite beauty products you need in your closet.
“According to new research from Elf Cosmetics, a whopping 55% of us want to spend less on our beauty routines. It’s no wonder that there are millions of #dupe videos on TikTok.
“While some counterfeit products are easily identified by their similar packaging, they often fall short when it comes to their contents.
“In fact, some of the best imitations look nothing like the luxury product they mimic. And trust me, those are the imitations you want.”
REAL: Benefit Hoola Matte Bronzer, £32.50 DUPE: Natural Collection Bronzer, £3.50, a saving of £29. The Natural Collection Bronzer is available in more shades, although there is no mirror in the compact.
REAL: Milk Makeup Hydro-Grip Primer, £35 DUPE: Elf Power Grip Primer, £10. These two have a similar green tint and the same long-lasting, mattifying properties. However, Elf’s is so popular that it’s just as hard to get hold of.
REAL: Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick, £28 DUPE: L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Satin Lipstick Beige A Now, £8.99. The shades of these two lipsticks look virtually identical on the lips. The Charlotte Tilbury lipstick is matte, but the L’Oreal Paris Lipstick has a satin finish. This makes it more comfortable to wear all day.
REAL: Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation, £40 DUPE: Collection Lasting Perfection Matte Foundation, £6.99 Although they don’t look the same on the outside, the formula, consistency and longevity of both foundations are pretty much the same. Unfortunately, Collection only comes in 20 shades, while Estee Lauder has 60.
REAL: Glossier Boy Brow, £20 DUPE: Essence Make Me Brow Gel, £2.50 There’s a whole Reddit thread dedicated to this dupe, so you know it’s got to be good. They both have a waxy consistency and added fibres to make brows appear fuller. I have to say the shade range is much better with Boy Brow, but if you’re a tanner there are plenty of Essence shades to try.
