Beryl’s Trail of Destruction So Far
Before Beryl threatened the Texas coast on Sunday, the storm had already caused devastation in several other countries as it moved through the Caribbean toward the Gulf of Mexico.
After forming in the Atlantic in late June, Beryl tore through the Caribbean as a Category 4 hurricane before heading toward Texas. Although it has since been downgraded to a tropical storm, it is expected to re-strengthen and make landfall in Texas on Monday as a Category 1 hurricane.
The storm has left a trail of destruction since July 1st, with Beryl causing much damage so far.
