For those looking for a more affordable option, there are deals on the second-generation Apple Watch SE and Series 8. If you don’t mind settling for an older model, this is a great alternative. Keep in mind that some older models, like the Apple Watch Ultra, can be hard to find in stock. Due to limited supplies, prices fluctuate, especially at retailers like Amazon and Walmart. We’ll continue to update this list with the best deals as we find them.
It’s also worth noting that Apple is still in the midst of a patent dispute, meaning the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 models will no longer have the blood oxygen monitoring feature.
Best Apple Watch Deals
The second-generation Apple Watch SE, released in 2022, is the most recent Apple Watch not affected by the lawsuit, meaning it’s still available from Apple and most retailers. It offers a ton of upgrades over the first generation, including the same processor as the Watch Series 8, crash detection, and a few more. It’s already one of our favorite budget-friendly smartwatches, and you can pick one up right now at Walmart for $60 off.
Now that the Apple Watch Series 9 is here, we’re seeing more price drops on the previous generation. If you don’t mind the classic black (graphite), you can now grab the 45mm Apple Watch Series 8 for $200 less than the regular price at Walmart . This includes both GPS and cellular capabilities.
Another great deal on a higher-end Apple Watch Series 8 model is over at Walmart. It’s for the stainless steel 41mm model with cellular and a Milanese loop, saving you $300 off the price of what this model would have cost before the Apple Watch Series 9 came along. If that’s the model you want, this could be a great way to get it without paying Series 9 prices. Just note that it only comes in graphite and silver colors.

Both Walmart and Amazon are offering the new Apple Watch Series 9 41mm GPS (non-cellular) for $100 off retail price. Walmart is offering this price on the pretty pink color and also on starlight. Amazon has more colors available, but the best price right now is on either pink or midnight.
There are currently no major discounts on the Apple Watch Ultra, but if you choose to buy directly from Apple and you have an older Apple Watch to trade in, you can get between $60 and $355 in trade-in credit.
If you have another brand of smartwatch, you can check the trade-in value at Best Buy, where other brands like Garmin, Fossil, and Samsung may be eligible for a trade-in, though it’s more likely to be between $10 and $25. But if you’ve got your heart set on this Apple Watch and you can save at least a little bit, that’s a good thing.
