Do Black Friday streaming service deals actually save you money?
In general, yes. Many streaming services offer really great Black Friday deals. For example, top streamers like Hulu and Peacock have offered great rates during Black Friday sales. Last year, Hulu even offered a year of service for just $1 per month. The caveat, however, is that some Black Friday deals will be exclusive to new subscribers, while others may only last a few months, rather than the entire year. If you know you want to sign up for a streaming service soon, it’s best to skip free trial offers and sign up as a new subscriber closer to Black Friday instead.
Which streaming services typically offer the best Black Friday deals?
That’s hard to say because it depends on your preferences. However, it’s worth noting that Netflix hasn’t previously participated in Black Friday price cuts, while we’ve seen deals from Peacock, Disney, Hulu, Starz, Fubo and more, so there should be plenty of supply to help you get access to new content at a great price.
