The Galaxy S24 series brings improvements over its predecessor, the Galaxy S23 series, including more efficient batteries, brighter displays, higher quality cameras, and all-around better specs that vastly improve the phone’s performance. Most impressively, these phones are among the first to integrate generative AI capabilities directly into the device itself. This means you can use generative AI services wherever you go, even when the device is offline. Powering the phones is Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which means on-device AI performance should be both fast and reliable.

How much does the Galaxy S24 cost?
The three Galaxy S24 models come in a variety of storage configurations. US pricing for each model is as follows:
- Samsung Galaxy S24 Price: $860
- Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus Price: $1,000
- Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Price: $1,420
That makes the Ultra $220 more expensive than the S23 Ultra at launch, but the phone has a titanium frame this time around, which may explain the extra cost.
In terms of configuration upgrades, the S24 stays the same as its predecessor with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage. The S24 Plus has 12GB of RAM, up from the 8GB in the S23 Plus, and either 256GB or 512GB of storage. The Ultra also has an upgraded 12GB of RAM and is available in either 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage.

What colors is the Galaxy S24 available in?
The Samsung Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus are available in yellow, purple, gray and black at retailers. If you order directly from Samsung, you can also order the shades green, blue and orange.
Best Galaxy S24 Deals
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is an absolutely incredible phone, which our reviewer described as “a solid upgrade for those coming from an older Samsung phone” but criticized for being overpriced. It’s packed with great features, including some neat AI bits, and it also has a lovely big screen for being productive and binge-watching shows and movies. Amazon is treating customers to one of the best discounts we’ve seen in a while, a full 25% off.
If you order directly from Samsung, you’ll get access to seven different color options, including three Samsung-exclusive hues. In terms of savings, you can expect to score up to $535 off the Galaxy S24, up to $600 off the S24 Plus, and up to $750 off the S24 Ultra with a trade-in of an eligible device. The discount will be given in the form of invoice credits. You can also get an additional $120 off if you don’t opt for the unlocked version.
You can get a rebate if you trade in an old device, which can save you a nice amount of money on a new phone. If you decide to sign up for a Verizon plan, you can get a bill credit of up to $800.
Samsung fans can order the S24 series from AT&T and get an impressive trade-in deal. Both new and existing customers on an unlimited plan can trade in a phone valued at $95 or more and get up to $1,000 in bill credit. If the phone is valued at $35 or more, you can get up to $800 in bill credit with a qualifying trade-in.
If you don’t have a phone to trade in, you can get an S24 series phone for just $6 per month when you open a line with a qualifying plan.
Like AT&T, Verizon is offering some great deals on its new S24 series. New and existing customers with qualifying Verizon Unlimited Ultimate plans can trade in any Samsung phone model in any condition and get up to $800 in credit toward the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, or S24 Ultra.
Verizon is also offering up to $170 off select Galaxy Watches or up to $550 off a Galaxy Tab S9 FE 5G tablet with your purchase, though you’ll need new lines for those devices. If you buy a Galaxy S24+, you can get YouTube Premium for $10 a month with myPlan for a limited time.
If you want to grab a deal from Xfinity, you can trade in another mobile gadget and save up to $500 on the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra through June 30. It’s a great offer and a great chance to hold on to some of your cash.
If you purchase your S24 through Spectrum, you can save up to $200 when you trade in an eligible device and activate your new phone on a qualifying plan. The full discount will be applied to the S24 device you purchase if you prepay, or the credit will be spread across your payment plan if the phone is financed.
Google Fi is offering discounts on all S24-series phones when you switch to one of its phone plans. The S24 Ultra gets the biggest discounts, with up to $650 back when you purchase an Unlimited Plus or Flexible plan, or $250 back on other Fi plans. This discount will appear as a bill credit over 24 months.
Prefer an S24 or S24 Plus? You can still get up to $550 back with select Fi plans.
When you sign up for six months of service with Mint Mobile, you get another six months free. There are currently no Samsung S24 deals.
