Sometimes it feels like budget phones are in decline, but that’s not the case. You can still pick up a rock-solid phone for less by opting for the Google Pixel 8A, an incredibly budget version of the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro that comes with the same suite of new AI features. Better yet, you can save even more money if you take advantage of these deals.

Check this out: Google’s Pixel 8A is here: What’s new and different?

The Pixel 8A shares many of the same features as the more expensive models in the line, from comparable battery life to similar processors. It also has the ability to run Audio Magic Eraser, Best Take, and the Gemini Nano model, something Google’s budget phones have historically been limited to. The Pixel 8A even offers the same screen brightness as the standard Pixel 8, with up to 2,000 nits of brightness (1,400 nits in HDR). It’s also fairly similar in size to the flagship in the line. The Pixel 8 has a 6.2-inch display, while the 8A is 6.1 inches.

How much does the Pixel 8A cost?

The base 128GB model starts at $499. Or you can double your storage to the 256GB model for just $60 more.

What colors is the Pixel 8A available in?

The Pixel 8A comes in four colors: aloe (light green), bay (light blue), obsidian (black), and porcelain (white).

Best Pixel 8A Deals

We’ve scoured the web for the best Pixel 8A deals to help you score an upgrade at a great price. We’ll keep updating this page as more deals appear, so check back often.

Best Buy has the usual trade-in deals, meaning you can knock a big chunk off the cost of a Pixel 8A depending on which phone you turn in. Technically, you can get up to $750 off if you trade in something like an iPhone 15 Max , though that’s an unlikely scenario. If you let Best Buy connect the phone to a carrier, you can save $100 and pay just $399 for a Pixel 8A.

Target isn’t currently offering any direct deals when you buy an unlocked Pixel 8A. You can use your Target Circle card to get this phone for 5% off.

Verizon currently has an online-only deal where you can get the Pixel 8A for $5 a month if you sign up for a 36-month contract on the Unlimited plan. This has to be for a new line, so keep that in mind.

T-Mobile is currently offering you the chance to get a Google Pixel 8A for free, but there are some conditions.

Getting a free phone means you buy the Pixel 8A on a monthly contract and then add a new line. Most plans are included in the deal and you get the cost of the phone back in bill credits over the 24-month contract period.

You can also buy a Pixel 8A and then trade in an old device to get up to $500 off. All the heavyweights are included, and any iPhone 11 or later or Samsung Galaxy S9 or later gets you the full $500 credit.

If you’re okay with choosing an installment plan and signing up for an unlimited subscription, you can get the Google Pixel 8A for just $5.99 per month for 36 months. You can also get free Google Pixel Buds and save $100 on connected devices and Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses.

Not bad at all.
