When buyers go looking for the best laptops for their roles, it’s easy to see why they’ll often settle for anything with an Apple logo on the lid. Apple’s portables offer a wealth of features, particularly on the recently released M3 MacBook Air, including gorgeous displays and long-lasting batteries. Even the previous-generation M2 chips are a great option for most people. Unfortunately, Apple laptops are often some of the most expensive around, meaning finding a bargain is an absolute must—so we’ve done the digging so you don’t have to.
We update this list regularly to help you score a great bargain when one appears. If you don’t see a deal that suits you, check back later. Prices on the latest models can change at any time, and those older laptops can sell out too, so keep that in mind when planning your next purchase.

US prices for Apple MacBooks
While Amazon, Best Buy, and Adorama have the best prices right now, there is one benefit to paying full price and buy from Apple is that you can customize the machine by adding more RAM or a higher-capacity solid-state drive. The models sold by Amazon and other retailers have fixed configurations.
Want to go the refurbished route? You can find refurbished MacBooks at Apple’s Certified Refurbished Mac page. Stock of refurbished MacBooks changes quickly, so you might not always see the latest MacBook Air or Pro available. It’s worth keeping an eye out though, as you can make some big savings.
It is also worth noting that the Apple Store offers students an educational discountwhich can save you hundreds of dollars on the price of a new laptop or tablet.
