Budget
Before you do anything else, consider how much you’re willing to spend on new PC speakers. Good value speakers can deliver decent sound, but if you want a more premium sound with stronger bass and better clarity, you’ll want to spend $200 or more.
Mate
Larger speakers generally sound better, but not everyone has room for larger speakers, especially if you plan to place the speakers on either side of a monitor or even your laptop.
Subwoofer or no subwoofer?
PC speakers with a subwoofer typically deliver more bass, but you’ll need a place to place the subwoofer.
Connectivity

Surround sound?
