Samsung is known for making some of the best Android phones on the market. Its popular Galaxy Z Flip series first launched in 2020, and the most recent versions of the company’s foldable phones are now available directly from multiple retailers. We first got a look at the brand new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 at this summer’s Unpacked event, which saw the introduction of a bunch of notable new hardware including the Galaxy Ring and the Galaxy Z Fold 6. If you’re hoping to upgrade to the Z Flip 6, you can still do so without paying full price.

There are plenty of benefits to upgrading. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 has a speedy Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, along with a 6.7-inch AMOLED main display and a 3.4-inch AMOLED cover display. If you’re into photos and video, the Z Flip 6 has a 10-megapixel front-facing camera and a dual-camera setup on the back, including a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera. The phones come with 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage.

According to Samsung, you should be able to charge the 4,000mAh battery to 50% in about half an hour using wired charging. The Z Flip 6 comes equipped with the latest version of the company’s software, known as One UI 6.

What colors does the Galaxy Z Flip 6 come in?

You can choose from a variety of colors, but some options are only available directly from Samsung. Variants that you can find at multiple retailers include silver shadow, yellow, blue, and mint. Crafted black, white, and peach are exclusive to Samsung.

How much does the Galaxy Z Flip 6 cost?

The starting prices for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 in the US, before any trade-ins or rebates, are as follows:

  • Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 (256GB): $1,100
  • Samsung Galaxy Z Fiip 6 (512GB): $1,220

Best Unlocked Galaxy Z Flip 6 Deals

There are currently no direct discounts on the Galaxy Z Flip 6 at Samsung, but you can still get a great price if you have a trade-in model.

Right now, you can get an unlocked Galaxy Z Flip 6 direct from Samsung and get up to $650 in trade-in credit and double the storage for free. That essentially gets you the 256GB model for $550 and the 512GB model for $770.

Additionally, you can save 25% on a pair of Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, the Galaxy Watch Ultra, or the Galaxy Watch 7 when you purchase the Z Flip 6. You can also get one year of Samsung Care+ protection and support, valued at up to $156. All of these benefits add up to a combined savings of up to $800.

Best Buy isn’t offering the Galaxy Z Flip 6 at a discount, but buy one and you’ll get a month of Xbox Game Pass membership and three months of Google One cloud storage for free, and you can store up to 100GB of data and documents. There’s also up to $800 in trade-in credit if you have an eligible phone to trade in.

Best Galaxy Z Flip 6 Deals with a Carrier

While AT&T isn’t currently offering any direct discounts on the Z Flip 6, there are ways to save. The carrier is offering up to $1,100 back with a qualifying trade-in, which will get you this phone for free. You’ll need to choose an unlimited plan or upgrade.

As for the trade-in offer, the requirements are quite generous. You can trade in any Galaxy S, Note or Z Series smartphone, regardless of the year, in any condition. or a qualifying smartphone with a trade-in value of $35 or more. Please note that the savings will be paid out over 36 months via monthly repayments.

You can also score Samsung devices for 50% off when you purchase a Z Flip 6 if you meet AT&T’s requirements. This deal is available until September 5. You can also grab a Galaxy Tab A9+ 5G and/or a Galaxy Watch7 40mm for $0.99 per month when you choose a qualifying payment plan and data plan.

T-Mobile isn’t currently offering any instant savings on the Z Flip 6, but if you have an eligible device to trade in, you can save up to $1,100. You’ll get that savings back via 24 monthly bill credits when you add a new line to a Go5G Plus or Go5G Next plan. Already a T-Mobile customer? You can also score the same savings when you trade in an eligible device on the same two plans. You’ll get this phone for free.

Eligible devices include the Samsung Galaxy S9 and later, the Note 9 and later, and all Z-series devices, as well as the Apple iPhone 11 and later, the OnePlus 9 Pro 5G and later, the Google Pixel 6 and later, and the Motorola Razr Plus 2023. Some older models may be eligible for up to $550 off.

If you don’t have one of these subscriptions, there are also trade-in offers available where you can get up to $500 off.

Right now, Xfinity Mobile is offering customers up to $800 in savings on a new Galaxy Z Flip 6 phone. To take advantage of the deal, new customers can port their number and get a new line with Xfinity Mobile to get $800 in device credit on their monthly statement. Existing customers can upgrade a device and get up to $800 in credit when they trade in their old phone.

But even if you don’t have a device to trade in, you can still get $500 off the device.

There are currently no direct discounts from the carrier, but Verizon is offering up to $800 in savings when you get a new line and trade in your old phone. Verizon is currently accepting select phones in every state, but you must have one of the company’s qualifying Unlimited plans (Plus or Ultimate) to take advantage of this deal. You’ll receive your trade-in credit for 36 months.
