Bargain hunter Louise Mars bought a bottle of Buenas Vides Jammy Argentina Red at Aldi and showed it to others on social media. Many jaws dropped.

Post message on Aldi UK Shoppersa closed Facebook group with 296,000 members, Louise shared a click of her purchase and wrote, “I’ve been wanting to try this for a while.”

She then asked wine lovers, “Is this as good as the real thing?”

The limited edition Malbec wine from Argentina bears a striking resemblance to the iconic red wine Jam Shed Shiraz.

The iconic Jam Shed wine is available from many supermarkets including Asda, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose.

But while this buy at Aldi costs £5.99 for a 75cl bottle, the popular Jam Shed wine at Waitrose costs £7.99 – £2.99 more than this brilliant knock-off.

So if you want to save some money on your next If you’re buying alcohol, you really need to get your hands on this fantastic dupe-inspired product.

Social media users responded en masse to this great, cheap purchase.

Not only did many praise the taste, but others also found the wine to be better than the original Jam Shed wine.

Louise was clearly very impressed with her purchase, as she later explained: “I love it! I will definitely buy this again.

“It really is like that Nice.”
