Bhagwat calls for a united Hindu society, says he will learn lessons from Bangladesh – Times of India
He also summed up the idea of Bharat by saying that Hindu land in every inch, is a manifestation of power (shakti) and greetings to the Hindus.
(Hindu Bhoomi Ka Kan-Kan Ho Ab, Shakti Ka Avtar Uthe; Jal Thal Se Ambar Se Fir, Hindu Ki Jai Jaikaar Uthe; Jaga Janani Ka Jaikaar Uthe; Bharat Mata ki Jai)
About society and the country in general, he says there is a famous saying: Even God does not care about the weak. “It is certainly the duty of the government to act against miscreants, but society must protect their lives and property for the system to work,” he said.
Bhagwat said that his intention is not to intimidate or incite anyone to fight. “We all experience the existence of such a situation. It is everyone’s responsibility to make the country united, happy, peaceful and strong. The Hindu society has a greater responsibility,” he added.
“Unprovoked incidents like stone pelting during a Ganesh Visarjan procession manifest the grammar of anarchy referred to by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar. There has been a sudden increase in these types of incidents,” he said.
Bhagwat said that Hindus in Bangladesh are being persecuted and have been reduced to a minority. They will need the help of the Bharatiya government and the Hindu community around the world. Unprovoked atrocities against Hindus have been repeated in Bangladesh. This time they came out of their homes to protest and were able to provide some defense, he said.
The transcript of the speech also mentions Bhagwat’s concern over illegal infiltration from Bangladesh, which he believes is a cause of the population imbalance. “The matter doesn’t stop there. Now there is talk in Bangladesh of joining Pakistan, which is also a nuclear state, as a defense against Bharat. It is the government’s job to work towards a solution,” he said.
Bhagwat also added that the border states of Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and the coastal states of Kerala and Tamil Nadu, the entire Purvanchal from Bihar to Manipur have been disrupted. There is an attempt to create conflict on the basis of caste, language and province. However, he also appreciated the government for holding peaceful elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Sangh chief also expressed concern over the rape incident at RG Kar Hospital in Calcutta and termed it a fallout of infiltration of criminals into politics. “Even after such a heinous crime, the despicable efforts of some people to protect criminals shows how the nexus between crime, politics and toxic culture is ruining us.” He also called for a law to regulate OTT platforms and said drug abuse is ruining the country’s youth.
Once again he touched on the subject and said that words such as deep state, woke and cultural Marxism are now under discussion. He called for the need to develop a national narrative against such elements staying within the ambit of the law. These elements are conquering the educational institutions and spreading their distorted philosophy, he added.
These are declared enemies of cultural traditions. Bhagwat also blamed such elements for triggering events like the Arab Spring and the recent coup in Bangladesh, as evident from the transcript of the speech shared by RSS. He expressed concern about the Hamas war in Israel and said everyone is concerned about how far the conflict would go.
Bhagwat said there are vested interests working against India’s progress. “The commitment of countries that claim to be liberal, democratic and committed to world peace suddenly disappears when the question of their security and self-interest arises. They do not hesitate to attack other countries or overthrow their democratically elected governments through illegal or violent means,” he added.
“In a society that lives together, an identity-based group is motivated to split based on real or artificially created demands. They create a feeling of victimhood. By fanning discontent, the elements are pulled apart from the rest of society and made aggressive,” Bhagwat said in his reference to Woke, Cultural Marxists and Deep State.
Appealing to all sects of Hindus to unite, Bhagwat said social harmony should not be merely symbolism. There is a need to develop personal relationships with all sects and castes. Sharing an incident from a recent meeting, he said that members of the Rajput community stood up to grant access to the children of the Valmiki community. This is how we have to help each other.
