Bill Clinton confesses to Jeffrey Epstein in his new memoir
Former President Bill Clinton has revealed that he regrets ever meeting with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
In his new book “Citizen,” due out next week, Clinton, now 78, described his interactions with the convicted pedophile.
The excerpts, first reported by The American sunShow him admitting to flying on Espstein’s private jet, the Lolita Express, in 2002 and 2003.
He explained that traveling aboard Epstein’s plane was not worth the years of speculation about his character and the questions that come with it.
Clinton wrote: ‘The bottom line is that even though it allowed me to visit my foundation’s work, traveling on Epstein’s plane wasn’t worth the years of doubt afterwards. I wish I’d never met him.’
Clinton claims in his memoir that Epstein, who died in 2019, offered the plane in support of Clinton’s foundation and that they talked about economics and politics.
He also roundly rejected allegations that he ever visited Little Saint James, a private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands owned by Epstein.
Clinton also said the two had only brief meetings, one in his office in Harlem and one at Epstein’s home in New York.

The former president wrote: “I always thought Epstein was strange, but had no idea of the crimes he committed.
“He hurt a lot of people, but I didn’t know about it, and by the time he was first arrested in 2005, I had stopped contacting him. I’ve never visited his island.’
In January this year, court documents claimed that Clinton “thought she was young.”
Details about the testimony of Johanna Sjoberg, who was recruited to work as a massage therapist at the age of 20, were released after a verdict was handed down.
Sjoberg told lawyers in 2016 that Epstein told her, “Clinton likes them young, referring to girls.”
Clinton has long faced questions about his Epstein associate, who committed suicide while awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking of minors.
He invited him to the White House, with the financier visiting at least 17 times between 1993 and 1995, according to logs obtained by DailyMail.com.
Epstein’s ex-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell was invited to Chelsea Clinton’s wedding in July 2010.
Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison in June 2022 for conspiring with Epstein to sexually abuse minors.

In an April 2016 statement, Maxwell was asked about the trips with Epstein and Clinton.
“The claim that Clinton ate on Jeffrey’s Island is 100 percent false,” Maxwell said. “I’m sure he ate on Jeffrey’s plane.”
She said she did not know how many times Clinton had flown on Epstein’s plane.
Maxwell was also asked about her relationship with Doug Band, a lawyer who helped rebuild Clinton’s post-presidency image after the Monica Lewinsky scandal.
Band worked in Clinton’s White House counsel’s office and served as deputy assistant to the president before becoming his chief adviser from 2002 to 2011.
With Band’s help, Clinton forged a new role for his post-presidency with his Clinton Global Initiative, which donated millions to charities.
Band was also with Clinton during some of his meetings with Epstein and was on the pedophile’s private jet on the infamous trip to Africa in 2002, with passengers including Kevin Spacey and Chris Tucker.
Photos from the trip show Clinton receiving a massage from Chauntae Davies, an Epstein victim who worked as a flight attendant on Epstein’s plane.
The attorney for Virginia Giuffre, an Epstein trafficking victim, had previously argued that Clinton was a crucial witness in the case against him, but Clinton has never been accused of any wrongdoing.
