Former President Bill Clinton was hospitalized on Tuesday and may have a blood infection known as sepsis, CNN reported Thursday evening.
A spokesman for the Democrat Commander in Chief said he was admitted to the University of California Irvine medical center to be treated for a non-COVID-related infection.
“He is on the mend, in a good mood and incredibly grateful to the doctors, nurses ask, and the staff who provide him with excellent care,” CNN host Chris Cuomo said at the beginning of his show.
The 75-year-old former world leader felt unwell on Tuesday while in California for a Clinton Foundation-related event, medical correspondent Sanjay Gupta said after speaking with Clinton’s doctors and staff.
