Billionaire tech boss Mike Cannon-Brookes ‘is dating a new mystery woman’ after splitting from wife Annie

Mike Cannon-Brookes has reportedly started dating a new mystery woman following his divorce from his wife.

The Atlassian CEO, 45, and his wife Annie split in July last year after 13 years of marriage.

The billionaire tech boss’s new love is a ‘citizen’ he met in the NSW Southern Highlands, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Mr Cannon-Brookes owns several properties in the area and has expanded his portfolio by purchasing three adjacent properties in Mittagong for $12.25 million earlier this year.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted him and Atlassian for comment.

The tech titan was the subject of romance rumors last August, but responded at the time by pointing out that he was “too busy” to date.

News of his divorce from wife Annie was first revealed by the Australian Financial Review in July 2023.

“They are both focused on their children at the moment,” a family representative said. “They ask that their privacy be respected.”

The couple, who had an estimated fortune of $19 billion and a $300 million real estate empire, tied the knot in January 2010 and have four children together.

The couple was involved in a terrifying car accident just months before their marriage fell apart, which left the billionaire hospitalized for his injuries.

Both he and his wife made a full recovery and the car accident was not related to their divorce.

Annie was working as a fashion designer when she first met Mike in the Qantas lounge at Sydney Airport while en route to Michigan more than a decade ago.

He wooed her by inviting her to an awards ceremony and they soon became an intimate part of each other’s lives.

Mike caught his partner off guard in a series of amorous tweets after he got down on one knee to propose in 2009.

After their engagement, he tweeted: “I AM LOST THIS WEEKEND! The beautiful Miss Annie said yes!’

The couple tied the knot in 2010 and over the years built up a massive real estate portfolio worth almost $300 million as Mike climbed the Rich List ranks.

The couple’s 1.1-hectare Fairwater home in Sydney’s Point Piper harbor district, where the late Lady Mary Fairfax lived, was the most extravagant of their purchases.

They bought it in 2018, despite its intimidating $100 million price tag, making it the most expensive home in Australia at the time.

“We love the idea of raising our four young children in this historic property and filling the house and gardens with love and laughter over the years,” Mike told Domain at the time.

They also owned a $14.25 million home in Newport, on Sydney’s northern beaches, adjacent to the $24.5 million estate they bought in 2020.

The couple also spent $2.55 million on a fishing cottage at Great Mackerel Beach on the Northern Beaches, which is only accessible by boat.

According to DomainMr Cannon-Brookes bought three sprawling properties on the slopes of Mount Gibraltar in Mittagong for $12.25 million.

He already owns the nearby Greyladyes Farm, which he bought for $13 million, as well as an adjacent $9.1 million property.
