Billy Brownless Makes a Truly Bizarre ‘Grand Gesture’ to His Glamorous Female ‘Girlfriend’

AFL legend Billy Brownless and his new female companion Lizzie appear to be closer than ever – with the football legend even making a grand gesture to her at his new car wash.

Brownless and his Lizzie first appeared on stage together at the Australian Open in January, but the 57-year-old soccer legend insisted the Melbourne mother-of-four was just a “friend” at the time.

Now a reliable source has revealed that Billy appears to have honoured the pretty brunette with a cartoon drawing on a sign at his new car wash in Geelong.

The image shows a woman who looks remarkably like Lizzie, wearing her signature headband, a white top and denim shorts, and covered in soapy water.

“(He) is paying tribute to her by painting a caricature of her above his new car wash,” the source said.

The source described the sexy photo the Amazing Race contestant took of his girlfriend as a “grand gesture” towards her.

It comes a few months after Billy and Lizzie looked friendly as they drank champagne together at the Australian Open Piper-Heidsieck event at Melbourne Park in January.

Billy snuggled up to Lizzie for photos and beamed as he put his arm around her waist. The football star told the media at the time: ‘She is a friend who loves tennis’.

Lizzie explained that she and Billy were friends for a number of years and that they have “recently developed a new friendship.”

The sighting came after the former footballer reportedly split from his girlfriend Justine. The couple were together for over a year before splitting.

Meanwhile, Billy’s ex-wife Nicky Brownless became engaged to AFL star Garry Lyon last year.

The news came seven years after their relationship began under scandalous circumstances, when Lyon, 56, went public with their romance, surprising Brownless.

Garry, 56, surprised his best friend by starting a relationship with his wife of 18 years, 54, just 12 months after they split.

Garry and Nicky have put that stressful chapter behind them and Nicky has previously spoken about their truly blissful relationship.

“We planned to go and we did (we have so much to celebrate). We’re really happy,” she told the Herald Sun of their trip to New York after Gary proposed.

After years of intense scrutiny, Gary got down on one knee and proposed to Nicky during a recent trip to the Mornington Peninsula, presenting her with a giant diamond ring.

A month after their scandalous relationship hit the headlines, Brownless revealed the impact the relationship had on his family, saying: ‘A good friend wouldn’t do something like that.’

He also sensationally confessed that the secret relationship between Garry and Nicky may have been going on for years.

“I couldn’t believe it. I found out about it three or four months ago. I asked Garry and Nicky earlier what was going on and they said they were just good friends.
