BJP, Centre play with Kejriwal’s life: AAP MP | India News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: The BJP and its central government are playing with the lives of Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal who lost 8.5 kg and had his blood sugar levels drop below 50 mg/dL five times while in jail, AAP Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh claimed on Saturday. There was no immediate reaction from the BJP to his claims.
“His health condition is such that if he is not released from prison and given medical attention soon, serious incidents may occur with him,” Singh said at a news conference.
He said Kejriwal weighed 70 kg when he was arrested by the Enforcement Agency (ED) on March 21 in the excise policy-related money laundering case. Now his weight has dropped to 61.5 kg, he claimed.
The reason for this consistent weight loss is unknown as no tests could be conducted. This weight loss is a sign of a serious ailment, Singh claimed.
He said that Kejriwal’s family, the MONKEY and his well-wishers were concerned about his health in prison.
“The aim of the BJP and its government at the Centre is to keep him in jail and play with his life. They are hatching a conspiracy so that he faces serious health problems,” he alleged.
The Delhi Chief Minister was given the High Council on Friday in the case registered by the ED. However, he is still in jail due to his arrest in the excise policy “scam” case by the CBI.
