'BJP party of terrorists': Mallikarjun Kharge responds to PM Modi's 'Urban Naxals' comment
NEW DELHI: Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Saturday called BJP a party of terrorists over Prime Minister Modi’s comment that Congress has been taken over by Urban Naxals.
Congress chief further accused the BJP of lynching and raping tribals. “Progressive people are called Urban Naxals… this is his habit. His party itself is a terrorist party. They lynch, beat people, urinate in the mouths of scheduled caste people, rape tribals. They also support those people. Who do all this. Then they blame others. (PM) Modi has no right to say this. Wherever his government is, atrocities are committed against people of scheduled castes, especially tribes. Then he keeps talking about atrocities, it’s your government, you can control it,” Kharge said.

Prime Minister Modi, while addressing a gathering, Maharashtra’s Washim last week, said the Congress has been taken over by a “gang of urban Naxals” who want to promote their agenda by dividing people.
“They think that if we all unite, their agenda to divide the country will fail. Everyone can see how closely the Congress stands with people who have no good intentions for India. The Congress wants to keep Dalits as Dalits and the poor as poor. So beware of Congress. Urban Naxals are leading the Congress. The party wants to divide the country, so it tries to divide us. So be united to foil the Congress party’s plot. This is the time to be together,” Prime Minister Modi had said at the meeting.
