Black Friday PS Plus deals are always a highlight of the sales season – when they actually appear. However, we have great news if Amazon is offering Prime members the chance to save 10% on PlayStation gift cards now!

What do I know? Turns out I was actually wrong about a PS5 Pro discount…

It looks like I’ll have to immediately go back on my prediction that there won’t be a price drop for the PS5 Pro this Black Friday, as UK retailer Argos has already taken the ax to the PS5 Pro’s price tag.

UK shoppers can now go to that retailer and buy the bag PS5 Pro for £659.99 – a saving of 40 euros!

Let’s hope this is the first of many on both sides of the Atlantic…

Will the PS5 Pro get a discount during Black Friday?

Of the many adjacent game deals and accessory deals, and even the ever-expanding PS5 Pro bundle options that we’re starting to see, one question is more important and critical than others: Will the PS5 Pro itself get a price cut this Black Friday?

First the bad news: I don’t think so. I’ll put my brutally realistic hat on: it’s just too early for a real discount, considering the Pro wasn’t released until November 7. Now that pre-orders for the PS5 Pro are doing well in Sony’s eyes, Sony should not have to make an official price reduction.

Now the not-so-bad news: the above isn’t stopping retailers from dropping the price a little or adding value, and we’re already seeing some versions of this, like this UK bundle at Very, which includes the seller adding a disc drive to the PS5 Pro to form a bundle and receive a few euros discount.

We’re hopeful that the PS5 Pro’s value proposition will be boosted with deals and bundles like this with accessories, games and more, over the wider Black Friday period, as it’s too early for a significant price cut.

Good morning! We’re at it again today, taking a look at what PS5 Pro deals or PS5 accessory and game deals emerge as we race towards the big sale day itself.

And we’re starting big today: if you’re looking for a major TV upgrade to go with your new PS5 Pro, then you might be looking at Sony’s excellent range of TVs. One in particular that’s always worth highlighting is the brilliant A95L, and the 65-inch model happens to have the second lowest price ever in the US and the lowest price ever in Britain!

You can get it in the US $2,898 at Amazon (was $3,499.99) and in the UK you can also go to Amazon and buy it £2,799 (was £3,599).

Horizon Forbidden West on PS5 Pro is perhaps the most beautiful game I have ever played on a console. It’s astonishingly good. As a result, it’s one of the first games I recommend, and I’ll point out any discounts I see on it between now and, well, someday.

While it’s not a huge discount in the US, you can get one at the moment $49.99 at Amazon in the US that is a saving of ten dollars. UK shoppers will have to stick with the regular edition of the game for the best price currently on offer £35.99 from Amazon UK.

UK shoppers can now also take advantage of a great deal on a brilliant PS5 Pro monitor and save quite a bit on one of the best premium screens around.

I found that pairing the PS5 Pro with a 120Hz capable screen definitely gets the best out of the console and if that’s exactly what you want then getting the brilliant Alienware AW3225QF 4K QD is something you should do. Buy OLED monitor for the lowest price ever. should take note of. Goes first £839 at Amazon right now the saving is a cool £150 and, to repeat, you get the screen for the cheapest price ever.

Speaking of specific retailers, now is also a good time to point out that it wouldn’t be a bad idea to bookmark some key stores from now on and visit regularly, just in case you come across a good deal. The US and UK retailers below are the ones we recommend following as we head towards the big day itself.

British retailer Very is selling a PS5 Pro + disc drive bundle!

This is the bundle we’ve been hoping for since the PS5 Pro was confirmed to ship without a disc drive. You can now get the PS5 Pro+ disc drive for £794 at Very. This bundle also saves you around six pounds on the combined list prices, but it’s a very welcome first bundle of its kind that we’ve seen.

That said, the first price I have to tell you about is the best price right now for the PS5 Pro itself.

In the US, the best price we can find is just 99 cents off the list price of $699.99. It’s not really a discount at this point, but getting the PS5 Pro for $699 at Walmart remains in principle the best choice, at least for now.

However, people in the UK are doing a little better as the EE Store continues its trend of shaving pounds off even the latest gaming gear. Right now, people can buy the PS5 Pro £695 from the EE Store that’s a whole £4.99 off the console’s RRP. A small victory, but a victory nonetheless. However, we’ve discovered something else for UK shoppers that could be of interest if you’re willing to wait a few weeks…

What kind of Black Friday PS5 Pro deals will we see?

Especially since the PS5 Pro is so fresh and brand new, you might be wondering what kind of deals I’m going to focus on here – and that’s a fair question!

While I’m not necessarily expecting any discounts on the console itself, I am somewhat hopeful that I’ll see some better deals on it. I’d love to see some retailers bundle the disc drive and vertical stand together with the Pro and shave some money off the price tag, for example. These types of bundles will still be expensive, of course, but could be enough to convince people to jump in and get everything they need at once.

Adjacent to the console itself, on things like PS5 Pro games and PS5 Pro accessories Certainly where we will see discounts and offers galore. First-party PlayStation games and major games from recent years that have had Pro improvements will drop in price, so look out for discounts on e.g. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2the Horizon games, and Ratchet & Clank: Rift apart (and more).

Then that’s us Certainly I’ll also see discounts on accessories and additional hardware for the PS5 Pro. Headsets, controllers, SSDs, racing wheels, TVs, monitors and everything else will see their prices reduced, so keep that in mind during the sale period – and we’ll highlight a few here.
