The Black Ops 6 beta goes live on August 30 at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST. This is the early access period, the first of two weekends where players can jump into the game early. Here’s the full schedule:
- Early Access (Weekend One): August 30 – September 4
- Open Beta (Weekend Two): September 6 – September 9
As we get closer to Friday, Activision will likely reveal the exact timing by time zone. This section will be updated as soon as that happens.
Black Ops 6 Early Access – How to get in?
To be in the Black Ops 6 During the Early Access beta weekend, you must have pre-ordered the game or be an Xbox Game Pass subscriber (Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass PC, or Game Pass Console).

The Black Ops 6 Open Beta Weekend runs from September 6 to September 9, going live at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST on Friday and ending at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST on Monday. You can download the beta from the PlayStation, Xbox, and Battle.net storefronts.

What can you expect from the Black Ops 6 Beta?
The Black Ops 6 beta will feature 8 maps to play. Including Skyline, Rewind, Scud, Babylon, Derelict, Stakeout, Gala, and Pit. Confirmed modes include Kill Hoarder, Team Deathmatch, and Hardpoint. A full list will be released soon. In the past, COD betas have added content in the period between the first two weekends. This could mean that we will see new modes and maps once the open beta goes live.

What is the Black Ops 6 Beta Vault Edition Bonus?
If you the Black Ops 6 Vault Edition, you’ll be able to use some of your bonuses during the beta. Expect to play as one of four Operators from the Hunter vs Hunted Operator Pack. These include Park, Adler, Brutus, and Klaus. You’ll also be able to try out five weapons from the Mastercraft Weapon Collection.
