Body of Mike Lynch’s missing daughter Hannah recovered from wreck of Bayesian superyacht – as Italian authorities launch manslaughter investigation into sinking that killed six
The body of Mike Lynch’s daughter Hannah has been found, the Italian coastguard said, making her the sixth and final person reported missing after a luxury yacht sank during a storm off the coast of Sicily.
Vincenzo Zagarola, of the Italian Coast Guard, earlier said the search for Hannah had not been “easy or quick” and compared the sunken yacht to “an 18-story building full of water.”
Mr Zagarola said: ‘From the very first moment it was not easy or fast to inspect the boat. Think of an 18-storey building full of water.’
Mr Lynch, his daughter, Morgan Stanley International Bank chairman Jonathan Bloomer, his wife Judy Bloomer, Clifford Chance attorney Chris Morvillo and his wife Neda Morvillo died when the yacht sank about 5 a.m. local time on Monday.
The search for Hannah started again early today morning.
