Boy dies of suffocation after eating more than three arms at once | India News – Times of India

HYDERABAD: An 11-year-old boy died here on Monday, allegedly due to suffocation, after eating more than three pooris at a time during school lunch, police said. The boy’s father said in a police complaint that he had received a call from the school informing him that his son had consumed “more than three puris” together, which led to shortness of breath.
The boy, a sixth standard student, was rushed to a nearby private hospital by school staff. However, the hospital staff referred him to a private super specialty hospital for better treatment. The doctors there, who checked his health condition, declared him dead.
