Brad Pitt ‘posing for the cameras with his new girlfriend, says pro
BOTH halves of what was once Hollywood’s most handsome couple attended the Venice Film Festival this week with their new partners.
When comparing their body language, one professional said it was clear that Brad Pitt was more focused on showcasing his relationship on camera, while Angelina Jolie preferred to keep it a secret.
Angelina, 49, was photographed with British rapper Akala, 40, at the 81st Venice Film Festival on August 28.
Amid rumors that the couple is in a relationship, sources said TMZ that they are just friends.
Just days later, 60-year-old Brad hit the red carpet with 34-year-old Ines de Ramon, their first official public appearance in the two years they’ve been together.
Body language expert Judi James claimed that neither star looked like they were in the midst of a romance.
“When Angelina walked with Akala in Venice, she was at her most elegant and graceful,” James told The US Sun.
“She was in goddess mode and wearing high heels, which made walking a challenge in general.
Meanwhile, Brad regained his boyish grin and stubble on his chin.
“He struck the romantic poses the cameras expected of him, including forced, teeth-baring smiles.
“His relationship with Ines seems like a much-needed emotional respite for him.”
ANGELINA DON’T TELL
James claimed that Angelina did not show her true feelings for Akala in Venice.
“Angelina is good at defining her relationships with her men through some very performative body language cues,” she said.
For example, she noted that Angelina was crazy about Billy Bob Thornton and imitated Jonny Lee Miller.
But whatever she feels for Akala, she doesn’t show it.
“Here, with Akala, she didn’t show her feelings,” James said.
BRAD’S NEW DYNAMIC
James also compared Brad’s body language with Ines to how he looked with his old loves.
After the breakup, Brad and Angelina finally had their ultimate moment of revenge.

“There are fashion combinations that make this couple look like a matching set,” she said.
“But Brad wasn’t a twin like he used to be with Gwyneth Paltrow. He wasn’t tactile here like he was with Friends star Jennifer Aniston.
“Brad might have been able to find a calmer balance with Ines that works for now.”
But, she noted, Brad seems to enjoy being with his buddy more than his girlfriend.
“Brad looked much more like the solo star here and was more cheerful when he joked about Clooney,” she said.
“He looked around excitedly and waved to the crowd, his brows furrowed.”
She claimed that Brad wanted to put on a show for the cameras.
THE ‘WHO IS HAPPIER’ OLYMPIC GAMES
James claimed that Angelina and Brad might have seen an opportunity in Venice.
“After the breakup, Brad and Angelina finally had their ultimate revenge moment,” she said.
“That happened when they presented these new partnerships at the Venice Film Festival.
“Brad’s cheeks were round, which indicated that he really enjoyed his work.
“He would stand slightly in front of Ines as they posed, or he would walk ahead of her while holding her hand firmly and placing his own hand firmly on top of it.
“This showed that he also wanted to show that he was in charge of this relationship.
“Ines indicated that she was calm and drama-free and that she was fine with him exploring their relationship in public.
“Angelina’s ‘partner’ seemed even less complicated and equally empty.
“Their signals of connection seem absent in most of these poses.
“Akala looked much less formal than Brad and Ines, and Akala and Angelina looked more relaxed together.”
VERY EARLY BACK
Angelina and Brad began divorce proceedings in 2016, amid ongoing nasty legal battles over their six children and a vineyard in France.
But before their split, they were considered the epitome of celebrity couples.
“At the time, they were portrayed as the ultimate elegant, royal Hollywood power couple,” James said.
“Brad had his boyish, playful charisma in his poses with Angelina.
“He preferred the classic, masculine, heroic look with one hand in one pocket and a sculpted chin.”
And Angelina proudly marked her territory.
“Angelina pouted and placed a hand on his chest to show her ownership and ward off other women, as if she was casting a curse,” James said.
While the film festival was going on and their divorce continued, the exes premiered two films: Maria for Angelina and Wolfs for Brad.
The festival’s artistic director, Alberto Barbera, said there was “no possibility of them crossing each other” and told media that any performances would be staggered.
When Angelina hit the town with Akala, whose real name is Kingslee James McLean Dale, they seemed close.
They were also spotted in Jamaica at the Calabash Literary Festival in May and in Milan in 2023.
In-Touch reported that Angelina and Akala had been in a relationship for a year.
“He was very protective of them as he showed them around,” a source told the publication.
“I think a big part of her attraction to Akala, besides the physical, is seeing him interact with her children, because that’s so important to her,” they added.
