Brew-tiful! The 16th century pub available to RENT – sleeps 23 and has a Pac-Man machine, pool table and hot tub (and an all-important bar)

Those fancying a British holiday with a difference now have the opportunity to rent an entire 16th century pub.

Boar’s Head in Bishop’s Castle, Shropshire, sleeps 23 people and is available to rent through Sykes Holiday Cottages.

The holiday company explains that owner Darren Price transformed the building in 2020 ‘to keep the historic building in use and attract visitors to the area’.

Sykes Holiday Cottages says that Darren has ‘retained the look and feel of a traditional pub, with exposed brick, roaring log burners and an all-important bar for holidaymakers to help themselves to’.

The site continues: ‘What further enhances the atmosphere is that the holiday home also has a games room, complete with a dart board, Pac-Man machine and pool table, while the garden features a hot tub, outdoor speaker and seating area. There are also pint pulling classes on offer for those looking to brush up on their skills.”
