The 62-year-old Briton jumped from the Babadag paragliding center in Fethiye to the popular Aegean hotspot in the Turkish Riviera.

The tourist was on vacation from England when he decided to make a jump from the Babadag, which means Father Mountain.

The vacationer prepared for the jump, but crashed into rocks shortly after.

Witnesses immediately called emergency services and Search and Rescue was deployed in the area.

He was carried away on a stretcher and taken by ambulance to Fethiye State Hospital.

But despite their best efforts, he was unable to be revived.

Turkish authorities have opened an investigation into his death.

Babadag is considered one of the best places for paragliding in Europe due to its breathtaking view near the coast.
