Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes Has called on his teammates to perform next season and to prevent him from winning the Club’s Player of the Season Award for the third time in a row.
The Portuguese midfielder claimed the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year Award last week last week in six years, equal to the club record.
Fernandes has dominated the prize since he came to the Red Devils in 2019 and now wants other players to have more impact and end his reign.
“I hope that next year I will not be involved in the (nominated) names,” Fernandes told CBS Sports.
‘Because that would mean that Amad was noticed, (Alejandro) Garnacho was performed, Rasmus (Hojlund) was performed.
‘All players who play in the front, when they start to score, start offering assists, start running backwards, tackling and everything they will have and not me.

Bruno Fernandes called his teammates from Manchester United to perform next season

Rasmus Hojlund is one of the players that Fernandes must have to have more impact
“I would be the happiest person in the world because I am there to help my teammates and get the best of them, which makes the team better.”
Fernandes has been the radiant light of the club this period and led the United hit lists for both goals and assists at some distance with 19 of each.
The men of Ruben Amorim have a miserable domestic campaign and are 16th in the Premier League with one more competition, their worst campaign ever.
However, they can end their season at a peak if they beat Tottenham in the Europa League final on Wednesday.
