Singh’s mother from Haryana said her 23-year-old had visited her house in Holi and the two had not been in touch since.
“He went to Pune to work in one scrap heapI only knew this. I didn’t know what he was doing in Mumbai. He had come home in Holi and not since. He didn’t even contact me on phone calls so I can’t say anything about the incident. He is about 18 to 19 years old. He had just sent me Rs 3,000 when my daughter was sick,” she told ANI.

Singh’s grandmother expressed contempt for her grandson, saying, “He was my grandson, but now he doesn’t do anything for me. He has not been in contact for the past three to four days and is no longer in contact.”
Meanwhile, the mother of Uttar Pradesh native Dharamraj Kashyap said her 19-year-old also worked at a scrap yard in Pune. However, Kashyap had contacted her mother only once.
“Two months ago, he had started working at a scrap yard in Pune. Since he left, he had contacted me only once. The police had come and informed me about him,” she said.
Mumbai Police arrested him on Saturday Gurmail Singh (23) and Dharamraj Kashyap (19) moments after Siddique was shot and succumbed to multiple injuries. The two were brought to court on Sunday, where the prosecutor revealed that more than 28 live cartridges had been recovered from the two.
