Capalaba, Queensland: Nine-week-old baby found dead – with death being treated as suspicious

A nine-week-old baby has been found dead in a home. His death is being treated as suspicious.

The boy was found dead on Sunday at a property on Larbonya Crescent in Capalaba, southeast of Brisbane.

“Police are investigating the sudden death of a baby,” a Queensland Police spokesman said.

‘Officers were called to an address in Brisbane’s south-east after a nine-week-old baby was found dead on the premises.

‘The circumstances surrounding the boy’s death are still being investigated.’

It is believed that emergency services had visited the building a week earlier.

An investigation has been launched and the death is being treated as suspicious.
