Cars set on fire in Wellington St in Woollahra in shocking anti-Semitic attack

A car was set on fire and a dozen other cars vandalized with anti-Israel graffiti in a shocking attack in a leafy Sydney suburb.

Emergency services were called to the scene of a car on Wellington Street in Woollahra about 12.35pm on Thursday.

While Fire and Rescue NSW were able to extinguish the blaze, police found a dozen cars covered in graffiti with anti-Israel messages.

Several cars were covered in white spray paint that read “f**k Israel.”

The cars were parked along Wellington Street, Tara Street, Fullerton Street and Ocean Street.

The door of an apartment complex on Ocean Street was also defaced, police said.

Police have cordoned off a crime scene and are investigating.
