Caviar is launching a custom Apple Vision Pro model with 24K gold
Caviar, the luxury brand known for its limited edition variants of iPhone models and cases, has introduced a customized version of the Apple Vision Pro called Oracle. While it has the same internals and specs as the mass-production device that Apple sells worldwide, the mixed reality headset’s luxury factor has been taken a step further, thanks to the addition of elements like 24-karat gold, a 7-micron coating, and of course leather with a swanky finish.
Caviar Oracle Prize
Caviar Oracle price starts for $26,700 (approximately Rs. 23 lakhs) for the 256 GB model. It is also offered in 512GB and 1TB storage configurations, with the latter priced at $29,560 (approximately Rs. 25 lakhs).
Notably, the price of the Apple Vision Pro mass market variant has been set at $3,499 (approximately Rs. 2,88,700) for the base storage model.
Caviar Oracle Specifications
Caviar Oracle features a hand-stitched natural leather construction with a striking finish. The company says it has a special tanning process that preserves the natural grain pattern of the leather. The mixed-reality headset has a 24-karat gold frame, crafted using a double-plating technique, which produces a 7-micron coating.
It has side inserts, which the company says can be adjusted. Other design elements include the Caviar brand name and logo, presented in silver-gilt on black enamel. Caviar says Oracle is a limited edition model with only 49 units being produced. Each of them comes with a commemorative plaque engraved with the model name and individual serial number. The headset can be customized with text, logo and initials. Furthermore, the elements can be customized in terms of colors and materials, depending on the company.
In terms of specifications, the Caviar Oracle is equipped with the same micro-LED displays that can display 23 million pixels. It comes with support for three refresh rates: 90 Hz, 96 Hz, 100 Hz. The mixed-reality headset is powered by the Apple M2 SoC with an 8-core CPU, a 10-core GPU and a 16-core neural engine. It also features an R1 coprocessor for processing real-time sensor input. It is offered with up to 1TB of onboard storage.
