Celebrate the spooky season with Dead Space and more free games with PlayStation Plus
PlayStation Plus is Sony’s version of Xbox Game Pass, offering subscribers a large and ever-growing library of games. There are three subscription plans starting $10 per monthbut each plan gives subscribers access to monthly games and rewards. Starting October 1, subscribers will be able to play the remake of the horror game Dead Space and other games.
Here are all games PlayStation Plus subscribers will have access to it throughout the month of October. You can also check out which games PlayStation added to its game library in September.
Dead space
Return to the USG Ishimura and battle the grotesque creatures within in this remake of the survival horror classic. You play as an engineer named Isaac Clarke who responds to the ship’s distress signal. Your partner Nicole is on the ship, and when you find the ship’s crew slaughtered, you set out to find her and discover what happened. You can play this game with the lights on — I won’t tell.
WWE 2K24
Celebrate nearly 40 years of WrestleMania with iconic wrestlers like Andre the Giant and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin in this wrestling video game. Relive some of the most memorable moments from WrestleMania, like when Bret “The Hitman” Hart claimed the WWF Intercontinental Championship after defeating “Rowdy” Roddy Piper at WrestleMania 8.
Doki Doki Literature Club Plus
Write poetry, impress your crush and experience this beloved… psychological horror story? Yes, you read that right. This game is a visual novel, so you’ll mostly be reading text as you play, but you will make choices that will affect the outcome. And without spoiling anything, there’s a reason this game comes with a warning that it’s not suitable for children or the easily disturbed, so play at your own risk.
Monthly games leaving soon
While all PS Plus subscribers will be able to play these games throughout the month of October, you have until September 30th to play the following games before they are no longer available on the service. At that point, you’ll have to purchase them separately.
For more on PlayStation Plus, here’s what you need to know about the service. You can also check out the latest upcoming games from Apple Arcade, Netflix Games, and Crunchyroll Game Vault.
