NEW DELHI: The Appointments Committee of the Little cupboard (ACC) has approved the proposal for appointment of six senior advocates as Additional Solicitor General (ASG) in the Supreme Court of India.
Senior Lawyers S.DwarakanathMadam. Archana Pathak Dave, Satya Darshi Sanjay, Letters Chahar, Raghavendra P.ShankarAnd Rajkumar Bhaskar Thakare (Raja Thakare) have been appointed as Additional Solicitor General (ASG) to the Supreme Court.
According to the notice, these appointments were made for a period of three years, commencing on the date of taking office.
These senior lawyers with distinguished careers have been involved in several high-profile cases before the Supreme Court. Their expertise spans a range of legal areas, including constitutional, commercial and corporate law.
These appointments are made by the government to strengthen the legal team that represents the government’s interests before the Supreme Court.
