The fourth season of Channel 10’s comedy singing competition The Masked Singer is in turmoil with the announcement that Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has left the show.

Jackie, 47, who said she was leaving the series because she wanted to spend more time with her family, is the third star to stop guessing celebrities within a month.

Comedian Urzila Carlson left the hit franchise in early May, two weeks after Dannii Minogue resigned over scheduling conflicts with her UK TV commitments.

Jackie announced her news on Instagram on Saturday, posting a touching farewell note to the team at The Masked Singer, telling followers that the quirky show was “the most fun I’ve ever had on TV.”

Jackie, who has been with The Masked Singer since debuting in 2019, said her co-stars, Danni Minogue, Urzila Carlson, Dave Hughes and host Osher Gunsberg are now her “friends for life.”

The Kyle and Jackie O KIIS FM radio host said making the decision to leave the show was “incredibly difficult.”

The star explained that she wanted to spend the holidays with her daughter, Catalina ‘Kitty’ Henderson, 11.

“I have decided to retire this year. Filming always coincides with school holidays,” she says.

“And after three years of not missing anything, I’ve decided to take a vacation halfway through my radio break with my daughter, while she still enjoys being with her mother.”

Last month, Dannii confirmed she will not be back for the next season of The Masked Singer Australia and announced that she will host a new gay dating show called I Kissed A Boy on BBC Three later this year.

Meanwhile, comedian Urzila Carlson confirmed on The Kyle and Jackie O Show that she won’t be back this year because she’s too busy with her comedy tour.

The news comes after The Herald Sun reported that influencer and radio and podcast star Abbie Chatfield is reportedly a new judge on the program.

Channel 10 was coy about the talk, only telling the newspaper on Saturday that “everything will be revealed very soon.”
