Charlotte Church thinks she’s “probably doing a better job” raising her third child because she knows more about herself.

The singer, 35, was in her early twenties when she had daughter Ruby (14) and 12-year-old son Dexter with ex Gavin Henson.

Charlotte admitted motherhood is “still chaotic” after giving birth to daughter Frida in August 2020 with husband Jonathan Powell. She has gained valuable experience over the years.

When asked if it feels different to be a mother now that she’s older, Charlotte told Metro newspaper, “I think we’ll probably do better this time because you know more about yourself.”

Not only is Charlotte a mother of three but still hopes to put out new music “in the next few years” and the self-proclaimed “tree hugger” is eager to live as a “wild woman in the woods” as much as she can.

Asked if she would like to do more in the music business again, hitmaker Crazy Chick – who is currently working on creating a wellness center in Wales – added: ‘I would love to be involved in it for the rest of my life because it’s the best job ever is.

“I really want to release an album in the next few years, but if we open the retreat center next year, it’s going to take a lot of my time and energy.

“I also want to live like a wild woman in the forest as much as possible and be there for all my babies, friends and family. So it’s just being realistic about how that happens.’

In October, she revealed she welcomed her third child, daughter Freda, under a tree after deciding to build a “birth palace” in her backyard.

She confessed to being “overconfident” about giving birth again after previously welcoming two children, but was quickly “slapped in the face” as she struggled through the pain while standing outside in the rain.

In Rob Beckett and Josh Widdecomb’s Parenting Hell podcast, Charlotte said parenting is “incredibly difficult.”

However, she considers it “the pinnacle of her existence,” adding that it has helped her “be calmer” and “get to know herself better.”
