Chelsea will not turn Jadon Sanchothe loan in a permanent step with the blues that pays a fine of £ 5 million to send it back to Manchester United.

Sancho would have remained £ 25 million, but personal conditions could not be agreed with the 25-year-old last week. His loan runs until the end of June.

Mail Sport broke earlier How the Sancho loan agreement included in which Chelsea could come from their obligation to buy by paying a multi-billion pound.

The original loan from United contained no initial reimbursement, so the £ 5 million can be seen internally in Chelsea as the same as the £ 5 million that Aston Villa Paid to take Axel Disasi on loan for the second half of the 2024-25 season.

Sancho struggled for consistency for the 2024-25 season, although scored in the Conference League final against Real Betis, which Chelsea won 4-1.

He became a popular player in the dressing room of Chelsea, although the blues hierarchy, including manager Enzo MarescaSaid consistently that they wanted to wait until the conclusion of the campaign before he completed his future.

He is now on his way back to Old Trafford and will assess his options at home and abroad this summer.

Sancho had flashes of sparkle in front of the side of Enzo Maresca – fans even sang his name when he came from the bank to set up the winner against Bournemouth in September.

For the 23 times England International, this was a switch to the club he had supported as a child and an opportunity to rebuild his reputation after a medium spell at United.

United signed Sancho for £ 73 million in 2021 after he was impressed by his sparkling form at Borussia Dortmund, but he never reached the heights he had in Germany.

After two seasons of the hot and cold blowing, he and ten Hag had an almighty fall-out who saw him exiled from the first team of training and banned them to Dortmund, where he found his feet again in flashes.

Sancho still proved quality in his safe in Chelsea, as shown in his bold run and beautiful finihs from outside the box against Tottenham in December.

But in the end he was unable to bring the end product to a consistent basis, scored five and assisted 10 in 42 games in all competitions.

Sancho’s contract with United runs until 2026 and includes the option of another year.

A stumbling block for potential lovers can be his salary because it is believed that he earns around £ 250,000 a week.

Mail Sport reported how United had to pay £ 100,000 of his salary a week, while he was on loan in Germany to make the finances feasible.
