Last week had one of his best games in a Chelsea shirt in the victory against Everton, and it seemed that his self -confidence in that match improved enormously.

Fans were hopeful that it would be the same Robert Sanchez that appeared today, and it was.

He was sure that he came out to meet the ball, did not wash any shots back to oncoming Liverpool attackers and, when needed, finally unhappy for his team not to get a clean magazine.

Moises Caicedo – 9

Another fantastic, dominant, display completed by winning the penalty in which Cole Palmer saw his 18-match target-barren run end.

Trevoh Chalobah – 6

A largely good performance against a dangerous attack in Liverpool was abandoned by being beaten in a corner in the air by Virgil van Dijk when the Reds equalized.

Apart from that, he was quite solid, which applied a number of clutch challenges and in particular cleans up the ball well when needed to get the ball away from danger.

Levi Colwill – 6

Romeo Lavia – 8

Romeo Lavia was heavily seduced by Liverpool before he came from Southampton and was praised last week by Enzo Maresca who said he could be one of the best midfielders in the world if he could stay fit.

That is an opinion of the Italians that I share, because he started a second consecutive league match at Stamford Bridge and was fantastic again.

He is without a doubt part of the favorite XI of Enzo Maresca, and it is easy to see why when he is so good at half the turn and the lines can break with confident passes.

A transition machine that has not had a single pass out of place.

Enzo Fernandez – 9

With its most productive season so far, it took the Argentinian midfielder only three minutes to settle in the box and roll the ball past Alisson in the bottom corner.

Not only that, he was combative in midfield in his own box and composed in the middle of the park on the ball.

His passion and energy is unparalleled in this Chelsea team and was clear again today because he seems to share the joy of those supporters who have been coming to the bridge for years – a man of the competition display.

Pedro Neto – 7

Packing an assist within three minutes with a run along the right wing before his low cross found the feet of Enzo Fernandez in the box.

Came near a shot in the first half to hit the side and remained a threat during the first 45.

He was a handful of Kostas Tsimikas to deal with and put a few good crosses in which he saw a bit of a shame not to get to the assist leaf again.

Cole Palmer – 9

‘Palmer again, Ole, Ole’ sang the fans as he ended his goal drought. He is back.

After demonstrably his least impactful match in a Chelsea shirt against the blue half of Merseyside previous time -out in the Premier League, Cole Palmer looked like he had had a spring in his step today.

The attacking midfielder played an important role in the goals of both blues, in which the ankles of Virgil van Dijk in the run -up to the first break and completed a Mazey dribble, followed by a dangerous ball in the middle that caused chaos for the defense of Liverpool and ended with Quansah that in his own goal.

Finally his goal of drought ended with a murderous blow at death from the penalty spot.

Noni Madueke – 7

Starting again on the left after a great achievement against Everton in that position, we may start to see a new interpretation of Noni Madueke on Stamford Bridge.

We know his game on the right, stand on the fullback, hit him and get a shot.

But on the left he seems like another player, more exciting, with the same pace and power that he combined well with Marc Cucurella and traced back to do his defensive due diligence.

Nicolas Jackson – 4

If the offside rule did not exist, Nicolas Jackson would have had a huge impact on this game – unfortunately.

After just a few minutes he called Alisson and would have seen the keeper sent away if he had not been outside the last defender.

Jackson ran the channels well, and you can criticize his efforts, but too often was offside and made the wrong decisions when he received the ball in a good position, namely Nootmeging Quansah and a shot from an impossible perspective took instead of squadrating it for Neto.

Was replaced by Sancho as the first change.

Did not know to influence the game in the same way as it has lately, in what has been a good form of shape for the difficult wing player.

Didn’t have much time to make a meaningful impact, but was in no way bad.

Malo Gusto (Romeo Lavia, 78) – 5

Had his bit seen the game for Chelsea, making tackles and splitting when needed when Liverpool penetrated an equalizer.

Almost the same as Gusto, did what he was asked in limited minutes.
