Mudryk who loses his shirt to Palmer is the newest update about the Ukrainian winger who has held a relatively low profile since his failed test.

After the news about his positive test had been public and he received a suspension in December, Mudryk released a statement in which he insisted that he “had done nothing wrong.”

Mudryk wrote on Instagram: ‘I can confirm that I received a notification that a sample that I provided to the FA contained a forbidden substance. This has come a complete shock because I have never knowingly used or have used forbidden substances or have violated rules, and worked closely with my team to investigate how this could have happened.

‘I know I have done nothing wrong and hope that I will be back on the field soon. I can no longer say because of the confidentiality of the process, but I will be as soon as possible. ‘

Only a few days later Mudryk was seen on the ring to see how his countryman Oleksandr Usyk’s Rematch against Tyson Fury in Saudi Arabia.
