The Premier League match of Chelsea with Manchester United was temporarily stopped due to an unexpected kit violation.
Red Devils Hitman Rasmus Hojlund was the culprit party in the second half of the Stamford Bridge Showdown on Friday evening, who won Chelsea 1-0.
The Denmark International returned to the field after the interval of the second half with what seemed to be a fitness tracker.
Hojlund’s wearing the device did not go unnoticed, with the referee Chris Kavanagh stopping the game briefly and instructed him to remove it.
And the Dane could only laugh while he went to the touchline to transfer the device.
The bizarre incident bewildered footie fans, who flowed to X to give their thoughts.
One wrote: “Hojlund really came on the field with an Apple Watch.”
Another said: “[He was] His steps. “
And another said, “Counting his steps Cos (sic) he knows he won’t score.”
They noted: “Bruv just wanted to get his steps in.”

United thought they had taken the lead in the 16th minute thanks to a neat finish of Harry Maguire.
But the defender’s strike was excluded for a marginal offside.
Many of the Old Trafford -believers were adamant to that blues defender Marc Cucurella Maguire played aside and that the goal should have been.
And Spain International Cucurella rubbed salt into their wounds by breaking the impasse in the 71st minute, with his strike it turned out to be the only goal of the game.
