This is the horrific moment villagers cut open two huge crocodiles and found human remains after a six-year-old girl was ‘killed and eaten’ by one of the animals.
The huge reptiles were captured and gutted by experts from the Sarawak Forestry Corporation in Malaysia after Cecelia Julan Intik disappeared while swimming in the Sungai Tatau River on September 25.
The enormous crocodiles were 17 feet and 18 feet long respectively and so heavy that searchers had to use a tugboat and a crane to get them ashore.
Cecelia’s family told police she was swept away by the powerful predator while playing in the water at Sungai Tatau.
The boy’s shocked sister and grandfather saw her being pulled underwater, but could do nothing to stop the crocodile’s attack.
Malaysian media reported that six-year-old Cecelia Julan Intik was “killed and eaten” by a 5.5-meter crocodile on September 25 while swimming in the Sungai Tatau River.

Grim remains have now been discovered inside one of the crocodiles, believed to be Cecelia’s, after wildlife experts gutted the captured reptiles on September 27, according to local media reports.
Officers found human teeth, bones and a handful of coins inside one of the huge river beasts.
Some of Cecela’s relatives watched the gruesome investigation to help police identify the remains.
Tatau District Police Chief Inspector Jame Reis confirmed: “Two crocodiles were trapped on Friday.
“The first at Hulu Sungai Sap at about 9.30am weighing 1.2 tonnes and the second was captured at 1.20pm weighing 1.3 tonnes, both on the same day.”
He added: ‘A dissection carried out on the first reptile led to the discovery of teeth, bones and coins in the crocodile’s stomach.’
Local media added that the human remains of one of the animals have been sent to the Malaysian Ministry of Chemistry’s forensic laboratories for analysis.
The captured animals were returned to Jetty Pasar Lama Tatau and given to forestry experts for further examination.
The findings of the second dissection have yet to be released to the public.
Fragments, believed to include the remains of Cecelia’s body, were found after the crocodile was gutted by wildlife experts
It comes after a 3.5 meter long crocodile battered a grandmother to death in Indonesia, with a video showing how authorities removed her body from the beast’s belly.
Halima Rahakbauw, 54, was washing pots in a river in the Maluku village of Wali after foraging for mussels on Tuesday morning when the reptile struck.
After spotting a sandal and part of a leg in the river, villagers reported the incident to police, who discovered the crocodile eating the woman’s body and shooting him dead.
The predator was pulled from the water and locals removed parts of Rahakbauw’s body from the stomach before dismembering and throwing the animal away.
