NEW DELHI: The upcoming elections in Maharashtra are being described as a contest between “Modi Parivar” And “Gandhi Parivar,” Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said while the BJP stands for abolishing Muslim reservations, the Congress treats all religion without any discrimination.
“There are currently two parivars in the country, Modi Parivar and Gandhi Parivar, and if you decide to support the Modi Parivar, they will remove the four percent reservation for minorities. It is important that you decide who you are going to support,” he said during a speech on National Education Day and Minority Welfare Day.

Claiming that the Constitution and reservations are “under threat from the BJP”, Reddy said it is necessary for the Congress to come to power in Maharashtra to protect both.
“It doesn’t matter to Congress whether it is in power or not. Congress has ruled for many years in the last seventy years, but this time it is crucial. The Constitution and the reservations are in danger. Congress must form a government in Maharashtra to ensure security. both,” Reddy said.
Further, Reddy claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would “change the Constitution” and “do away with Muslim reservations” if he were given more political strength, while also ensuring that the Congress would not only protect the Muslim quota but also create jobs and would make Muslims partners. in the government.
