Christina Ricci’s New West Elm Home Decor Collection Features a Spooky $39 Tarot Deck
Spooky decorations don’t have to be just for Halloween, as Christina Ricci has launched a timeless collection of home accessories.
The Addams Family actress teamed up with West Elm to unveil a range of products inspired by her subconscious ‘journey’, starting at $29.
It’s no surprise that Christina has had a passion for mysticism since her teenage years, having starred in supernatural films like Sleepy Hollow and Casper.
Her West Elm collection includes a Cat Full of Spiders Tarot Deck & Guidebook for $39.
She told Architecture overview that tarot can be used to ‘navigate’ and predict the future.
“All the cards represent different things and have different meanings,” she said.
“Depending on the question you ask [before you pull a card] and your own self-knowledge, the card will have a different meaning and tell everyone something different.
“It’s like putting your subconscious and all your life experiences to work.”
The 78 cards and 128-page booklet are described as “great for beginners and professionals alike.”
Christina revealed her nearly 2 million Instagram followers that the tarot deck is a limited edition.
She looked excited as she displayed it alongside the other items from the home collection.
“All art is original and based on the journey of my subconscious through all the lives I’ve lived as an actress,” she said.
“It’s a bit complicated.
“Then we have a beautiful candle with one wick, which smells wonderful.
“It’s a fragrance I designed, it’s smoky and fresh.
“There is also a candle with three wicks, and both candles have the emblem of the Cat full of spiders.
“The collaboration also includes a smudge bowl and stick to clean your surroundings and terrace.”
The Black Tourmaline Smudge Stick is the most affordable item in the collection, retailing for $29.
The marble smudge bowl is $49, the three-wick candle with marble filling is $79, and the marble tray is $99.
Some of the items intended for decorating tables and shelves are now sold out.
Thousands of fans liked the Instagram post and said they would love to buy the items.
“I literally can’t even describe how much I need this deck and how happy I’ll be once I have it in my little hands,” said one.
“I’m waiting for mine to arrive I’m so excited!!!!!” commented another.
