Cleverley appointed Plymouth manager who defeated ex-England teammate to Job

Tom Cleverley has been announced as the New Plygh Argyle manager.

Cleverley35, was available after he was fired from his work in Watford Because of the missing of the Championship Play -offs.

He has signed a three -year contract with the pilgrims and will strive to get the club back to the second flight.

Chairman Simon Hallett praised Cleverley’s arrival in the Dugout after the controversial exit of Miron Muslic.

He said: “Since Miron’s departure, and knowing that Tom was available, we immediately identified him as the perfect person to be our next head coach and we immediately founded him.

“When we talked to him, he was fully tailored to the vision and ambitions of the club and it was clear that Tom was the right suitable for us.

“He has been fully invested in our long -term plans and will play a key role to help us reach it.

“He is young, passionate and did a great job at Watford.

“We are very happy to take him to Argyle and look forward to seeing the impact he has on the talented team at his disposal.”

The club was banned from the championship last season under Muslic.
