Coco Gauff was left ashamed after he had walked into court without her rackets.
The World No2 beat Olivia Gadecki 6-2 6-2 in her French Open First Round Clash today.
But her campaign in Paris went on the way to a nightmare start when she went to court in court.
Gauff opened her bag and realized that her rackets were not there.
The bewildered 21-year-old turned to her team, sat in the stands with a confusing look on her face.
She then picked up her empty bag and kept him open and just seemed to ask: “Rackets?”
A Bal boy then came to the rescue and sprinted in the court with five of the current rackets of the French open champion.
When asked about the bizarre scenes after the game, Gauff explained: “The perpetrator is not in the box because he knows that the rackets should be in my bag.
“To be honest, as long as I have been on tour, my coach has always put the rackets in the bag before the game because he is very superstitious.
“He likes to grab every racket new every day. I don’t care. I can play with a dirty grip.
“I’m going on the field and I realize that I don’t have rackets and I literally just fooled Frances Tiafoe for it. But now I will be quiet.
“But I blame my coach, so it’s okay.”
Tiafoe, who defeated Roman Safiullin in the first round in Roland-Garros on Sunday, forgot his rackets in March during a collision in Indian Wells.
The start of the competition was delayed when the coach of the American David Witt sprinted the Trims to get them.
Forgetting her rackets is not the only blunder of Gauff in recent weeks after she served at Qinwen Zheng in Rome while they Her opponent was not on the field.
