A male competitor at a friendly game is accused of a ‘dog act’ because he dumped his girlfriend after she fainted so that he could continue the event.
The incident took place during the Hyrox competition in Sydney Last weekend, with images of a witness who becomes viral on social media.
Hyrox is a fitness phenomenon similar to CrossFit, with competitors who compete solo or in teams in events that combine endurance and functional strength.
Aaron Boundy, who posted the video, accused the male competitor of leaving his partner – who participated in a double team with him – although she ‘pulled on the floor’ when she fainted.
“The miss of that guy just fainted and hit the deck as a full ride,” Boundy said about images of a male competitor who ran while a woman was cared for by doctors while she was lying on the floor.
‘She doesn’t respond and he just kept doing the wall ball [the final exercise] And when only the line crossed, he left her there.

“What a piece of s ** t.”
Boundy continued to chase against the man after leaving the event.
‘I think I have just witnessed one of the worst things in my life.
‘The missus of a man started as falling and fainting at the wall balls and I had something like that, told one of the jury members, can you help her? And they were like what, no, she’s okay, she’s okay.
“She was full, like, on the floor. And then her friend continued to do wall balls, did not pass and did not see her. ‘
Boundy said the medical teams placed barricades around the woman while treating her.

“The boyfriend walks over, ticks her on the leg and then looks at the judge and says,” Do I need her to finish the race? “
According to Boundy, when the judges told him that he did not have to finish the event with his partner technically, “the man” ran away “and” didn’t even go back and checked her. “
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Hyrox Australia for comment.
The video – which was also shown on Instagram – attracted strong reactions from viewers.
‘If you sign up to do team sports, agree to compete as one … You start together and end together. I saw friends put in a race early and tell their partner to crack and do a solo. But fainting and fitting on the floor, that’s a no mine. More important things in life than seeing your time on a screen, “they wrote.
“This is absolutely reason to separate,” added another, with more commentators who label the incident a ‘dog act’.
“Even if I would tell my husband in this situation to stay, if I suddenly did not respond, I can say with confidence that he would never leave my side … Girls choose your standards,” said a third comment.
A commentator who claimed to be the woman who fainted, however, gave a different version of events.
“I am that girl in the video, and my first two questions to my partner when I came was” Did you finish it for us and what time did we get? “And for the context if you took the trouble to show it, he came back immediately,” they wrote.
Another commentator claimed that the man and the woman concluded an agreement that if she fainted, he would continue for both of them. “
Hyrox started in 2017 in Germany and has grown into a global fitness trend, with events in 12 countries.
