Confronting footage emerges after six young girls ‘torture’ their neighbour over a bitter property dispute in Darwin

A suspected bitter property dispute that erupted on a suburban street has left a man covered in blood.

Action for Alice, a social media group dedicated to sharing criminal activity in the Northern Territory, shared graphic photos following the alleged conflict that unfolded around 7pm on Tuesday evening in Karama, in Darwin’s north.

Administrators of the Facebook page claim the 63-year-old man tried to stop a woman and several young children from vandalizing a cafe from which they had been evicted.

However, the group allegedly turned on him and were filmed throwing objects at his head, after which another man arrived off-camera.

‘I just witnessed a mother and six young girls assaulting my neighbor. [We’re] “We are now waiting for the police,” a witness told Action for Alice.

‘Another car pulled up and a man chased him into his house and destroyed the back of his house.

“He was just trying to stop the girls from destroying the house they were kicked out of. Not on.”

Exclusive footage shared with Daily Mail Australia shows a woman challenging the man, who has lived next to the social housing project for 20 years.

The young girl claimed that the man pulled her hair and punched her in the jaw before she began filming.

“Why did you hit me?” she said.

‘I didn’t do anything. I didn’t hit you.

“I wasn’t at your house… I was at my mother’s.”

The disturbing video shows a group of children repeatedly throwing stones at the man’s head.

At one point the man took revenge and threw a rock back at the children.

“Beating kids with rocks. Ha? Proof, asshole,” said the girl filming.

‘He beat little children. He beat little minors.

“You’re going to jail, you’re going to jail!”

The girl also told the man to “go back to his country” and called him a “pedophile looking bitch.”

Northern Territory police say they are investigating the alleged dispute and the involvement of another man, who is said to be armed.

“The incident reportedly began when the man confronted the group, who were reportedly vandalizing a vacant building. The group reportedly began throwing items at the man and further assaulting him,” police said in a statement.

‘A vehicle arrived at the scene and another man, who is believed to be known to the group, got out of the vehicle with a blunt weapon in his hand. He then allegedly threatened the man, who fled to his home.

‘The perpetrator is said to have damaged the house and a nearby vehicle with the blunt weapon, after which he fled the scene of the crime.

The 63-year-old man suffered injuries to his head and body and was taken to hospital for treatment.

‘The police have recorded several witness statements and are requesting anyone with information to contact them on 131 444. Please quote reference number NTP2400071552.’

The two photos showing the bloodied man after the confrontation received thousands of comments after they were posted.

“So sad! Disgusting behavior from those involved!” wrote one person.

“Poor man. Heartbreaking,” said another.

However, other commenters wondered why the man would even want to get involved.

“Why didn’t he just film them and show them to the police?” one person wrote.

“Sometimes people just need to mind their own business. It’s horrible, yes, but don’t put yourself in dangerous situations,” said another.

Other commentators blamed politicians for failing to prevent violence amid rising crime in the NT region.

“That’s why the government should stop spending money on tourism and focus on crime control instead. I will never visit that place,” someone said.

‘Bloody sad politicians please stop being woke and get real this is a joke no one in Australia should have to go through this and endure this,’ wrote another.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Northern Territory police, fire and emergency services for comment.
