Cong speaks Pak language in J&K, keep quiet by voting for us: PM Modi
PUNE/NAGPUR: Congress continues to speak Pakistani language on J&K and the only way to permanently defeat such “anti-India forces” is by Haryana poll verdict in Maharashtra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday while campaigning for the BJP in Pune.
“Congress and its allies are trying to restore the provision (Article 370) that promoted terrorism and separatism in J&K,” he said. “They (Congress) display a copy of the Constitution at every meeting. I want to ask why they could not implement the same constitution across the country while they were in government for decades.”
Modi accused the Congress leadership of being “slaves” to a colonial mentality. “Maharashtra is the land of Shivaji Maharaj, but the Congress prefers to praise Aurangzeb. The figureheads curse Veer Savarkar. I challenge Yuvraj (Rahul Gandhi) to salute Veer Savarkar and Balasaheb Thackeray in his speeches.”
The Prime Minister called the Congress ‘a party without integrity, which is only concerned with appeasement politics’. “It is only interested in a role in government and to achieve that it divides society on the basis of caste,” he said.
Modi alleged that the Congress government in Karnataka was funding the party’s Maharashtra campaign. “Congress made big promises and formed the government in Karnataka, but now they are looting the people there. Some of that loot is sent to Maharashtra before the elections.”
During Chimur, Modi spoke about Congress’s “historical bias” against reservations and tribes. In Solapur, Modi described the opposition MVA party as an alliance “trying to drive a vehicle without wheels or brakes.” “It is very clear that MVA cannot provide a stable government,” he said.
