Cosmetic nurse, 30, reveals all her favourite anti-aging skin treatments to maintain a youthful glow

A 30-year-old cosmetic injector shares the treatments she has undergone to keep her skin looking young, and her favorite products.

The secrets were shared in a recent video on TikTok by California nurse injector Dawn Monteith, who has more than 86,500 followers on the platform.

Monteith posted the clip in response to another creator who asked other women in their 30s what cosmetics they were doing to their skin.

“Girl, I just turned 30 and these are the things, injections, skin care, skin treatments, that I’ve used so far,” the injector began.

The first skin care regimen Monteith talked about was something she’s been doing since she was a teenager: wearing SPF every day.

“If it were up to me, I’d just protect my skin, honey,” she exclaimed.

She also said she uses tretinoin, a cream that helps treat acne and reduce fine lines and dark spots.

“As we get older, our skin changes,” she said. “I don’t know if you guys notice it, but it’s just not as bright as it used to be, my texture just isn’t the same anymore, so I use retinol to combat that.”

The expert also noted that long-term use of vitamin A can also improve your skin in the long run.

Monteith then went on to talk about all the cosmetic skin treatments she has undergone. She started with microneedling, something she has had done several times and absolutely loves.

Microneedling is a cosmetic treatment in which small holes are made in the upper layer of the skin using thin needles.

According to the researchers, the treatment should stimulate your skin to produce more collagen, which can lead to a younger-looking complexion. Association of the American Academy of Dermatology.

The nurse has also performed chemical peels and the PicoSure Laser, a laser that resurfaces the skin, which she credits for her radiant complexion.

“And now we’re going to talk about the injections,” Monteith continued.

“I love my Botox. I don’t care what anyone says. It makes my skin smooth and tight,” she revealed.

“As I get older, I feel like my eyebrows are getting a little flatter and my eyelids are getting heavier. It gives them a little bit of a lift.”

Monteith said she usually gets Botox injections, a toxin that is supposed to relax muscles to prevent wrinkles, once a quarter.

She also gets filler injections.

“I had a few in my cheeks the other day because like I said, they looked like they were falling down due to gravity,” Monteith said, referring to the area under her eyelids.

The TikTok creator has also had filler injections in her lips.

“I’ve always had full lips, so I don’t want to make them bigger, but I also don’t want them to look wrinkled,” she admitted.

Finally, Monteith said she administered an injection called PRFM, which concentrates platelets from your blood and then injects them into the areas you want treated, such as under your eyes.

“It’s a 100 percent natural way to plump up the skin under your eyes, reduce wrinkles and brighten the skin,” she said.

“I’m obsessed with anything I can do to fix the wrinkling and texture under my eyes,” the creator continues, adding that she now wants to get it “under control.”

In the comments on her video, others also shared what they do to keep their skin looking youthful well into their 30s.

“Stay out of the sun – or wear a hat – drink lots of water – take your vitamins and collagen – and develop a skin care routine to CLEANSER and HYDRATE your skin,” one person wrote.

Another shared: ‘Alternatives also include exercise, hydration and I use rosewater/plant ceramide moisturizer. Coconut oil also around my eyes sometimes for extra hydration. I’m 35 and love this combo!’

“I’m 30, my skin looks 22. SPFs, no alcohol, daily red light therapy, monthly facials, lots of water and minimal sugars… I use retinol once a week,” someone else typed.
